Coping with COVID 19 – tips from a clinical psychologist

Rates of mental health, domestic violence, and significant financial stress will rise. But despite this, it is possible to grow through crisis.

Crisis often brings an opportunity to reflect and a chance to reset and change. Many people may come to find how they have been living is not in line with what’s truly important to them.

Victor Frankl, a psychiatrist and survivor of the Nazi concentration camps experienced and wrote how having a sense of purpose can literally be life-saving.

Finding and living out “your why” as Simon Sinek puts it, is one way to grow through this crisis.
